Summary: The Administrative Assistant shall be primarily responsible to assist the leader with the organization and implementation of day-to-day activities, perform clerical and other administrative duties. This individual shall demonstrate knowledge and understanding of organizational skills, clerical skills, and interpersonal skills. The Assistant may perform projects such as, but not limited to; administrative reports, preparation and maintenance of confidential files, attendance at medical staff and other key hospital executive staff meetings, ordering of supplies, typing, data entry, and the office calendar. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.
Education / Experience: High School graduate or equivalent required. Business School Graduate preferred. At least 3 years or greater hospital experience preferred. At least 2 years clerical experience required.
License / Certification: none
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
& Knowledge of medical terminology and computer experience.
& Strong communication and customer relation skills.
& Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).Work Conditions/Physical Requirements:
