Responsibilities for a Production Planner include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and implement production schedules based on raw material availability, production capacity, and customer demand

  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials while maintaining optimal inventory levels

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify potential shortages or bottlenecks

  • Track production performance and adjust schedules as needed to maintain efficient production flow

  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and customer service teams to align schedules with customer needs

  • Continuously evaluate and improve production planning processes for efficiency and effectiveness

Candidates for Production Planner must meet the following requirements to be considered:
  • Previous experience in production planning and/or material planning in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate in a team setting

  • Effective communication and negotiation skills for managing supplier relationships

  • ERP system experience (SAP preferred but not required)

  • Proficient computer skills with a strong emphasis on Excel and Outlook

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
