Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a LeadProgram Management Specialist (Level 5) to join our PAC-3 team in Huntsville, Alabama.

The PAC-3 program is experiencing rapid growth and capacity expansion, presenting a unique opportunity to join one of our four Integrated Product Teams (IPT) Seeker, Processor, Power Assembly, and Gimbal. This role will serve as an IPT Deputy Program Manager (PM) reporting directly to the respective IPT Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of each IPT and its leader. Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Integration:
    • Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules for production and rate-enabling initiatives
    • Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry
    • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business cases
  • Performance Oversight:
    • Provides technical, cost, and schedule performance oversight for the program
    • Supports the Control Account Manager (CAM) for the respective IPT organizations
  • Collaboration & Relationship Building:
    • Develops and leverages collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to achieve work goals
    • Establishes and communicates clear objectives and goals to ensure a unified direction across teams
    • Provides direction to multi-function teams as Deputy IPT Lead

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience in a leadership role (i.e., manager, project manager, team lead, etc.)
  • More than 5 years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams
  • More than 5 years of experience in Program Management or IPT Leadership including cost, schedule and technical management

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field
  • Experience with product lifecycle management: design, analysis, manufacturing, procurements, assembly, integration, and test

Summary pay range: $157,250 - $212,750
